THE FACILITY

Falcon Ridge Ranch sits on a 12 acre ranch that is surrounded by trees and green pastures. Beyond the green fields we have the majestic red rock cliffs that connect to the magnificent Zion National Park.

Zion National Park and the surrounding Southern Utah area provides countless outdoor experiences in recreation for the students.

Students at Falcon Ridge Ranch have the opportunity to learn through the hands on approach. Each student will have the opportunity, enjoyment and the responsibility of learning about and taking care of the ranch animals. At the ranch you will find ducks, pigeons, dogs, rabbits, and horses. In the spring on the year the students hatch out ducks and chickens, take care of newborn calves and baby lambs.

Falcon Ridge Ranch students take pride in their living areas. From the beginning they are expected to take ownership in keeping the facility in tip top shape. There are two to four students in one room, each room having its own bathroom. Students enjoy meals in a family like setting. Home cooked meals that everyone enjoys brings a sense of peace and happiness to everyone.

Recreation on campus can be crocheting, swimming in the pool, playing soccer, dodge ball, volleyball, basketball, or an old fashioned game of croquet. One of the favorite pastimes is bug collecting for projects in school, chasing the frogs and the lizards, walking the dogs, flying the pigeons and picking wild flowers for different projects. Scrap booking is an all time favorite as well.
