10 Years. I was the first employee hired at Falcon Ridge Ranch.
Prior Professional experience working with adolescents:
I worked for three years prior at Cinnamon Hills Youth Treatment Center. I also worked in a correctional facility for a year prior to that.
Area of expertise and personal interest:
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, and a Masters Degree in Addiction Psychology. I am also a Licensed Substance Abuse Counselor.
About Me:
I have 7 children ranging from 18 - 2.
How does Falcon Ridge Ranch positively impact our student's success?:
We help give the youth a voice. They learn proper coping skills and communication skills in a safe environment where they learn care and concern for the human soul

Prior Professional experience working with adolescents:
10 years experience working with adolescents as the Admissions Director for a local psychiatric residential treatment center.
Area of expertise and personal interest:
Working with youth and with people in general.
About Me:
I have lived in the St. George area for the past 11 years though I am originally from the deep South in Louisiana. I am married to a wonderful man and have 3 children. I enjoy cooking, reading, fishing, bowling, home improvement projects, and I play a mean game of cribbage.
How does Falcon Ridge Ranch positively impact our student's success?:
Falcon Ridge Ranch has one of the strongest therapeutic programs that I have seen. Treatment is provided in an atmosphere that is caring and very family oriented. Falcon Ridge Ranch does a wonderful job treating the whole child and not just the issues!

I have been with the company for 8 years.
Prior Professional experience working with adolescents:
Counselor II in Division of Youth Corrections, for the state of Utah. I spent several years working in the Washington County School district as a para professional with children in the Special Education Program. I worked with adults with disabilities in an independent living setting. For the last few years I have worked with the National Child Nutrition Program to ensure our students health and well being.
Area of expertise and personal interest:
I received my degree in psychology and special education. I enjoy literature and working with children.
About Me:
I am a mother to two amazing daughters.
How does Falcon Ridge Ranch positively impact our student's success?:
I believe that Falcon Ridge Ranch teaches life skills and helps children learn to make good choices. But I believe there are deeper seeds planted than just that. I know we help shape futures. The positive impact of our program may not come to fruition until these teens are in adulthood. I know that our students are better employees, better citizens and better parents because of what we do.

12 years experience working with adolescents as the Admissions Director for 2 Residential Treatment Centers in Utah.
Area of expertise and personal interest:
I love being able to help families navigate the admission process as well as being able to secure funding utilizing their insurance benefits. I personally have enjoyed being able to connect to so many amazing people in this field.
About Me:
I have lived in the St. George area for the past 14 years though I am originally from Southern California. I have been married for 14 years and have two amazingly awesome children. We were fortunate enough to be able to go through the process of adoption to complete our family and I wouldn't have it any other way!!I. When I am not working, you will probably find me on the lake! I enjoy wake boarding, skiing and just being around the water!!!

Falcon Ridge Ranch has an excellent clinically sophisticated program that encompasses the entire family system, not just the student. The Positive Peer Culture is something that I continue to be impressed by day in and day out. The insight and introspection that occurs through this process is just incredible to observe and see first hand change!!
